About
Kimberly Carty, Ph.D. and Sherri Webster, LCSW, C-SWHC
Between the two of us, we've spent decades inside the systems that are supposed to hold people together when everything falls apart — and we've seen firsthand where those systems break down. Kimberly has worked alongside organizations navigating the operational reality of crisis: the coordination failures, the planning gaps, the moments when even the best-prepared organizations realize their plans didn't account for the humans inside them. Sherri has sat across from the people those plans forgot — the staff member who can't stop replaying what she saw, the administrator who held it together for everyone else and has no idea how to put himself back together. We started Carty Webster Advisors because we kept finding each other at the same intersection: where emergency management ends and human recovery begins. As sisters and professionals working from different sides of crisis, that alignment isn’t accidental—it’s built on a shared understanding of what organizations miss and what people need. We've lived on both sides of it. Our goal is to make sure that when your community faces a crisis — and at some point, it will — there is a plan not just for the incident, but for the people. Because when your people are supported, they stay. They lead. They protect your students. And your organization doesn't just survive — it recovers.
Kimberly Carty, Ph.D. Co-Founder | Emergency Management & Organizational Resilience

Sherri Webster is a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and organizations through crisis, transition, and recovery.
